Parkside awarded a 5 Green Keys rating!
September has definitely been Parkside's month!
After winning five awards at the Canadian Home Builders' Association CARE Awards Gala on September 24 (including the top honour CARE Development Project of the Year), Parkside was awarded a 5 Green Key rating with the Green Key Global Eco-Rating Program!
The Green Key Global Eco-Rating Program is a "graduated rating system designed to recognize hotels, motels and resorts that are committed to improving their environmental and fiscal performance."
The Green Key website also has a database searchable by country and city, so you can easily find a green hotel to stay in for your next vacation.
A hotel with a 5 Green Key rating is described as "a hotel that exemplifies the highest standards of environmental and social responsibility throughout all areas of operations. The hotel employs cutting edge technologies, policies, and programs which set the international standard for sustainable hotel operations."
Parkside is one of only two hotels in Victoria to achieve a 5 Green Key rating.
